Came in tonight and there was karaoke! Issac was an awesome bartender and great singer! Sexy Jesus was an excellent host, I'll definitely be coming back for taco & tequila night and to sing, of course!

Great little Dive Bar pretty good jukebox

I was attacked by a patron that could not handle their alcohol as I was setting up my tab. The two bartenders just basically stood there and said “no, stop don’t do that” and didn’t do anything else about the patron that doesn’t know how to drink. Terrible patrons and bartenders that don’t know how to serve.

Dive, but good food and Taco Tuesday Karaoke!

I had the beef fajitas and blue margarita and they were great. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu items. The atmosphere is old fashioned dive bar.

The food here was horrendous. Boyfriend and I took one bite of our food and couldn't gag any more of it down. Informed the wait staff where he told us there is nothing wrong with the food and would not refund us. The salsa was watered down and tasted like it had been spoiled. Went to ask manager for our refund as we each only took one bite of our food. He proceeded to kick us out and told us to never return and we were disgracing Pete's name. Never would have returned even if allowed to. If we wanted to eat from a dumpster, we would have. Rude.

It was slow but the food was 100% on point like dam it was good

If you're exploring Colfax dives, this is a must-stop. Always fun, interesting people sitting around the bar. The bartenders treat you like family. The jukebox is always playing a diverse array of music and the drinks are cheap. Easy bar menu great for sharing with a group.

Good food, cheap eats and friendly bartenders!

We just walked out after waiting for more than 10 min we were never even acknowledged. Totally disappointed

The atmosphere is really calm, the patrons are friendly and the bar-keeper is really good to talk to. I've only been here once, but the "fajitarito" (a fajita which was cooked right with an excellent flavor and the peppers were grilled perfectly - wrapped up in a tortilla and smothered in chili verde) was wonderful! I definitely want to return.

Pete's has gone from being an iconic neighborhood fixture to a place where families congregate. I'm not sure how to feel about the new ambiance because of all of the transplants. Perhaps I should stick with the food and drinks. The food and drinks are fine. I had my usual chili relleno and I wasn't impressed with the fact that the peppers had a multitude of seeds and a stem and there was very little batter on my fried pepper. Ultimately, I wound up to taking it home and didn't finish it. This trip was a little disappointing, but I've had others that when all is said and done, is a great place for local flavor and Mexican food.

Food was good for a bar. Service was on point and the staff were really great. Reminds me of the neighborhood dive bar, where your friends are still behind the til. I'll be going back.

Bartenders it amazing. As is custom in any bar, be respectful and they will take care of you. Shannon, Brandon, Seth and Sean are always sure to take care of you. Just don't be a piece of garbage.....

The neon signage is a perfect welcome. Devon the bartender was super nice. Nachos were enormous and drinks were priced right!

service was good, food was ok, stunk like a cigarette, was super hot inside with the heater cranked up. It's an old dank dive bar with decent enough Mexican food.

Pete's Satire maybe a 'dive bar' but it is an institution in Denver. . .cheap drinks and great service! Stop in to see Devin bartending tonight, she's the bomb!

So, I've enjoyed the greasy spoon style of The Satire many times over the years. But the service has become awful. My family stopped in today on July 4th to have burritos and beers as most places are closed. Huge mistake. The bartender/waitress was absolutely trashed. She took our order of three beers and disappeared. When my bf finally got tired of waiting and went to the bar, she didn't know who he was or where we even were sitting. It's a small place, and we were THE ONLY PEOPLE seated in a booth and not at the bar! As a bartender in the industry for over 15 years, I was especially disappointed in her representation of her establishment and position as she stumbled and slurred. We left. Gross.

Grimy bright bar that caters to the homeless and the brainless. I love it.

I used to come here fairly regularly when I lived in the area 15 years ago and I just stopped by last week when I was doing some Denver sightseeing. It's a lot brighter and cleaner than I remember it. They have decent prices for draft beer. I didn't order any food but others were and what I saw looked pretty good. The wings the guy sitting next to me had smelled amazing. So if you're in the area and are looking for a cheap beer this is probably as good a place as any.

Best bar ever!!! Friendly atmosphere and this place has soul you know? Not some unauthentic chain but a real nice authentic and genuine spot to unwind...like a Denver version of “Cheers” 😂 Good spot though I’d recommend to anyone!

My family and I have came to this spot for many years, and we haven't really experienced problems until our last visit. The first thing is the menus have changed, mostly downsized the menu. The food was still tasty, but about an hour after my family and I got some sort of stomach poisoning, very severe, throwing up all night. Since this was the last thing we have eaten and we all had suffered from this, we are sure it came from here. Never coming here again.

My guest and I noth had to send foid back. The food was old. Enchiladas was served with a flour tortilla instead of corn and the sauce was gravy. The guacamole looked kike it was a week old. I will never go back it was an horrible experience

Looking for a uniquely authentic Denver restaurant experience, we arrived at Pete’s Kitchen with our large family! Our waitress, Emily, was so friendly, fun and helpful! We loved the atmosphere and the Greek inspired foods! My Greek Salad was delish!! A fantastic place to eat any time of day!! Pete's is always open with great food and the friendliest staff! The menu is eclectic and the patronage diverse! Highly recommend!!
